Melissa Chevalier / MFA, RYT
Human-Centered Designer, Facilitator & Yoga Instructor

I’m a human-centered designer, facilitator, and yoga instructor with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and organizations grow with purpose, creativity, and resilience. With a Master of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts and certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), I bring a unique combination of strategy, design, and somatic practice to everything I do.

I work at the intersection of human connection, creativity, and thoughtful problem-solving. My path has always been guided by a deep curiosity about how people live, create, and relate—not just to each other, but to themselves. Whether I’m helping a team move through change or guiding a student in a restorative yoga practice, my intention is always the same: to create spaces where people feel grounded, connected, supported, and present.

As a design strategist and facilitator, I partner with teams to embed human-centered design into leadership, innovation, and culture-building efforts. I facilitate executive off-sites, design thinking workshops, and visual storytelling sessions, and create custom tools and systems that foster clarity, connection, and meaningful progress.

At the same time, I’m deeply committed to the body-mind connection. As a yoga teacher, I lead mindfulness-based practices that support somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and stress resilience. Whether teaching restorative yoga or facilitating team retreats, I integrate breath, presence, and movement to help people slow down, reconnect, and sustain their creative energy.
